Okeechobee Snowball Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups powder sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Cream the butter. vanilla and sugar. While the mixer is still running gradually add the flour.
- Once the dough has formed add the pecans.
- Using your hands, gather about a tablespoon of dough. Roll the dough into a ball that is about an inch thick.
- Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and add them to the powdered sugar while hot. Next, give them a light toss and place them on a sheet pan. Repeat this process once more when they are cool. Serve!
