“The Heavy” Shari Rowe Lifts Us Up With Her Latest Single
I have said this more than once. We are going through a plethora of heavy things right now. Covid being first, but we have fires, hurricanes and a country divided. It has left many of us awake at night wondering how are we going survive this. Country music artist Shari Rowe’s latest single “The Heavy”, may shed some light on how we can do just that.
The best way to lighten a heavy burden is to share it with someone else. That is hard no matter what end you are on. It takes something to ask for help and also to give it. As someone who has seizures on a weekly basis, this was a lesson I was forced into learning. I have no problem giving help, but asking for it still bothers me to this very day. Pushing yourself to do both of these at the same time, is what “The Heavy” is all about.
Shari Rowe also has me taking inventory on how I am helping others and how I can do more. We all have lives to live, but we all need to do more, including me. I challenge you to pick one thing that you can do on a regular basis to help someone else. Once you have decided, write it down and place it on your refrigerator. Why? Because I know you are going to be looking at least three times a day. I am going to do this as well. On Tuesday’s our area churches put food together for those who need it. I will be there! If we all take part, the things going on in this world will be a little less heavy.
Shari Rowe is an artist to watch and her new single “The Heavy” is truly one of my favorites. It tells OUR story. Of all the songs to come out this year, I think “The Heavy” should be one that makes your playlist. All the links you need are below. While you are there check out our full interview with Shari Rowe and try the amazing recipe she inspired. Let’s work to lift each other up!
