These No Bake Peanut Butter, Beer and Pretzel bars are truly a bar within a bar. It got peanuts, pretzels and beer! Everything you would find at your local drinking hole. We then sweetened the deal with some chocolate and whipped cream. This is a great party dessert. We created this delicious recipe for our interview with country music artist Dave Fenley. No Bake Peanut Butter, Beer and Pretzel Bars

Equipment

  • foil
  • food processor
  • large bowl
  • microwaveable bowl
  • mixer with whisk

Ingredients

The Bar

  • 1 ½ sticks butter melted
  • 2 cups pretzels crushed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • cup peanut butter creamy
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Guinness Whipped Cream

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Guinness Stout
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • pretzel twists for garnish

Instructions

Peanut Butter Bars

  • In a food processor grind the pretzels.
  • Add the peanut butter and give a couple pulses.
  • Next add the melted butter and sugar and pulse until combined. If still a little loose grind up a little more pretzel. It should be loose slightly more than cookie dough.
  • Line a 13x9 pan with foil. Spray the foil with oil.
  • Add the peanut butter mixture to the pan and spread evenly.
  • Add the chocolate chips and Nutella to a microwavable safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments. Stirring each time until chocolate is melted.
  • Spread evenly over the peanut butter mixture. Place the pan in the Refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Cut into 12 equal portions.

Guinness Whipped Cream

  • Using a mixer mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until the mixture is light and creamy. Add the beer and mix so that everything is combined.
  • Once combined add the heavy cream and whip until you get firm peaks.
  • Pipe the whipped cream on each peanut butter bar. Garnish with a mini pretzel twist.
