It’s hard to believe it’s been four years since Kelsey Lamb first became part of the Southern Fellow family. From the moment she stepped into our world, it was clear she had that rare blend of heart, honesty, and undeniable talent. Watching her grow as an artist and as a person has been one of the biggest honors of my music career. With her new EP Happy Now, Kelsey doesn’t just show me how far she’s come—she reminds me why we believed in her from the start.

My personal favorite on the EP is “Tease.” There’s a fire in that song that feels both empowering and brutally honest. The hook—“So if I’m a tease, what does that make you?”—stops you dead in your tracks. It’s the kind of line that doesn’t just sting; it makes you think. It flips the blame and calls out the game with bold clarity. Kelsey delivers it with a confident edge, and it’s easily one of the strongest lyrical punches on the record.

Another standout track is “Matches,” a fiery duet with fellow Southern Fellow family member Haley Mae Campbell. This one’s a straight-up jam, especially for Kelsey’s core audience—women who know the power of having a ride-or-die best friend in their corner. It’s bold, fun, and full of that wild spark that happens when two strong women team up. You can feel the chemistry, and it turns “Matches” into an anthem for late-night drives, vent sessions, and friendships that never back down.
