“Bridges” the new single from Liv Waters

I have been following Liv Waters for some time now. Over the past few months I have drawn some conclusions about this blonde hair, big heart songstress. Liv Waters loves at 100% all of the time.  She wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to writing music and interacting with her fans. As vulnerable as this may make someone, it is the bridge that connects these two worlds together for liv. All of this makes her new single a little shocking. For a woman who spends her life building bridges it surprising when she writes a song about burning them down.

I am going to go ahead and say this. “Bridges” is a pop song in my opinion and that is perfectly fine. There have been huge debates recently about genre classification so I want to stop that debate before it gets started. So once we past that “Bridges” is catchy and reaches the audience that it’s aimed at. As a 30 something male I always find these songs hard to relate to. However, there are many women and some men that will find a bit of comfort in “Bridges”. Getting out of a bad relationship where trust is demolished over and over can take it’s toll. Liv Waters pulls you through this journey of self discovery and heartbreak with “Bridges”. Sometimes your only option is to burn everything down and by doing so you will be able to build something better. I think for people who have been in a toxic relationship “Bridges” reveals that it is always possible to build yourself back after the dust has settled.

Is “Bridges” worthy of your playlist? I think it is. I think there will be many of you that will find comfort in this song. I also am looking forward to the path that Liv Waters is on.
