As a Florida boy, I can’t think of a more perfect song than “Beach Vibes” for the current condition we find ourselves in. Between the right, left and the Corona Virus we all need to step back and chill. Even if it’s only for a few minutes. I think that’s exactly what Aubrey Wollett had in mind while writing this song.

If you have been following Aubrey’s music for any length of time it’s easy to pick up that beach life is a theme thoroughly woven in her music. She is not the first artist to do this. The Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet made a damn good living doing the same thing. You might even start to think Aubrey Wollett is just a female copy of the boys that came before her. I think she shares plenty of similarities, but she is not copy. She is more a reflection of a new generation of sun seekers and coastal dwellers. Her new single “Beach Vibes” is the perfect example of that.

“Beach Vibes” is for those who’s shorts are a little bit longer and with a few more holes. It’s not trying to be overly clever. This song is just trying to make us take in a moment and enjoy it. It’s something we all need to do. “Beach Vibes” is a simple reminder to do so. With all the worries in the world, we need take a few minutes to dip our toes in the sand and let this crazy world slip away one wave at a time.
