Southern Fellow Avocado Ranch Dressing

Want to cool things down for the summer? Try our avocado ranch dressing. With the tartness from the buttermilk, fresh herbs and the richness from the avocado the recipe will be a hit. Try it on your favorite salad!

Ingredients

  • 2 hass avocado ripe
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 tbsp basil chopped finely
  • 1 tsp thyme chopped finely
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 cup heavy mayo
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • In a food processor add the onion and garlic. Pulse until it turns into a paste.
  • Add the avocado, mayo and buttermilk. Pulse until combined.
  • Add the remainder of the ingredients and pulse until combined.

Notes

Use as a salad dressing or as a dip.
